Sh. Sham Lal (Awardee), an Adopted Seed Rearer (ASR) from Udhampur district, stated that by adopting silkworm seed rearing, he has been able to generate higher income within a short period. He expressed that this activity has significantly enhanced his financial stability. Apart from sericulture, Shri Sham Lal also earns his livelihood through traditional farming practices such as agriculture and animal husbandry, which provide additional support to his family?s income.
